Hi All,

Now that Jiwa has the Batch Emailing / Process in Sales Order which is awesome, how hard would it to be able to knock something up that is for Statements and Remittance Advice so we can have a lot of flexibility.

The difficulty isn't really the issue - it's the time. We've got a lot of other work scheduled, and unfortunately this piece of functionality, whilst a great idea, wasn't even on our radar.

To answer the question : it's not hard, and we can use the sales order batch print / emailing as a framework, so we can save some time there, but there's still a few weeks of work in it - plus we'd need to alter some data structures (like add email logs, etc).

Doesn't Postcard do this anyway?

Yeah, but postcard isn't the best module around - it's showing it's age.

In 6.5.12 there is a pretty nice scheduled script included which does debtor statement emailing - I suggest you check it out when released.
