Importing Notes with SalesOrder

Postby pricerc » Wed May 12, 2010 6:42 am

Hi,

When I export a Sales Order to XML, remove all the 'IDs' (InvoiceID, InvoiceNo, CustomSettingID, etc), and then re-import it, everything seems to work ok except for the Notes, which don't seem to get imported.

Both import and export are using the SalesOrder form menu.

Is there a trick to getting the notes to import (A setting in the SystemSettings tag or something?)

There shouldn't be - if it doesn't work then then me be a bug - We've had one or two bugs reported in XML imports which crept in in 06.05.13 - so if you can reliably reproduce the problem, I suggest submitting a support issue to [email protected] along with an XML document that doesn't do what you want on demo data - do that and we'll be able to either provide guidance to get it to work or produce a patch, or fix it in the next release.
