Enhancement request XML Import

Postby Danny C » Thu Nov 05, 2009 9:07 am

I am still finding it difficult to get an easy way to alert/advise users when XML imports via Jiwa File Watcher have been successful or failed. Although there is an email function inside the XMLImport config file it doesn't show a reason.

It is even harder when doing CSV imports.

What is needed is a failsafe way to advise users whether CSV and/or XML files have failed - and more specifically the reason why. I suggest via emails, but it would actually be better if the results are written to a table so a Crystal report could be written which the user can run at will.

another option would be to add the failures to a 'ToDo' list that the users can view from within Jiwa without firing up a report.
