Web Services

Postby jiwameister » Fri Mar 19, 2010 2:16 pm

If it were possible to expose some (all??) of the functionality as web services.

There are many applications and systems that can consume web services now -ie Excel, InfoPath, web parts of sharepoint etc etc.

If Jiwa were to find a simple way to publish something similar to the COM object functionality, or perhaps the logic built into a form as web service - the integration possibilities are endless.

We recognise this as being quite valuable for integrations, and we do intend at some point to have a suite of web services available - at the very least for the import and export of documents (documents being any "record" - like a sales order, purchase order, inventory item, etc) into V7.

One other piece of information that it would be usefull to get through web services would be soemthing akin to a read only record set fro this such as stock listing or listings of debtors.
