Running SQL scripts inside Jiwa

Might be nice to have an area inside Jiwa, just for administrators or JSPs, perhaps locked with a password to run some of the standard suite of SQL scripts, such as the matchup scripts, GL_Repost and Update Parents.

That way, we don't need to launch SQL Management Studio to run a Jiwa script. I figure if it is Jiwa-related then it all should be done inside the app.

I like the idea, but don't like the idea of supporting the environment. SQL Query Analyzer (sic) is THE tool for running ad-hoc scripts.

I don't see us providing a tool which is the equivalent of the Query Analyzer. We did that with the JMC (remember that, anyone ), and found it wasn't worth the effort in terms of support.

As a compromise, any "standard" scripts could be instead be "maintenance" type utilities, run from a menu option. However - we're being REALLY strict on declarative referential integrity with version 7, so there should be no need for the "matchup" type scripts.
