Odd Report Behaviour - Auto Zoom on Print

Postby robin » Mon Jun 01, 2015 2:55 pm

Hi,

We have recently changed to Jiwa7 and I am in the process of upgrading all our reports to match our old system.

I have changed the Jiwa 7 Debtor Statement as At to portrait and moved stuff around to match, all is good works fine.

The problem is when I run it as a debtor statement it prints the statement out about 20% zoomed in so it cuts of the side of the page.
When I print the same report to screen (tick print to screen in debtor statements) it prints fine, it also prints fine in debtor maintenance, it only seems to do it when its printing automatically not to screen.

I'm baffled as to what is causing this at this point.....any thoughts?

The page size setting stored in the report must be wrong. Try this:

In your report editor, go to "Page Setup" (I use Visual Studio 2013, for me, this screen is under "Crystal Reports->Design->Page Setup...", if you are using Crystal Reports itself for editing reports, the "Page Setup" menu may be elsewhere).

In the "Page Setup" screen, you should tick "No Printer (optimize for screen display)" in the "Printer Options" section, "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size" in the "Page Options" section, and "Adjust Automatically" in the "Margins" section.

Click the OK button. Save the report.

In Jiwa, don't forget to refresh your report from the file system.

I've attached a screenshot of the settings I'm talking about. Let me know if this helps.
