Hi Guys,

I used to use Z_VBinNo view in a Purchase order in Jiwa6 which was linked to IN_Main.

This view no longer exists in Jiwa7 and so I cant get the bin location for products to come up on the PO anymore.
I tried linking PO_lines to IN_Main to IN_BinLocation to IN_BinLocationLookup but haven't had any luck.

is there a direct replacement for Z_VBinNo or am I chasing shadows?

I cannot find a view called "Z_VBinNo" in Jiwa 6.5.13 demo database. Which version of Jiwa did you use it in?

6.5.11 was the last version we had.

I set up a Jiwa 6.5.11 environment and the view does not exist in the demonstration data.

Based on the naming, and looking through some previous versions, I conclude that this is not a standard Jiwa view, but a custom one. You should obtain it from the v6 database you have it in, and create it in your v7 database. Some field names, table structures may have changed since v6.5.11 which means you may have to make adjusts to the view. If you need help with this, please post here.

No worries, thanks for having a look.

I am little confused as to why the Bin Location isn't on the standard V7 PO report as it was/is extremely useful.

When booking in 100+ items from a supplier, when it comes to putting the goods on the shelf, our storeman would normally take a PO or a Goods receipt which lists where all the stock should go so he can quickly put all the stock away.
At the moment he has to go to the inventory and lookup each item one by one put it away and then go check the next item and so on which is incredibly inefficient.

This might exist in V7, i may not have found it yet though. :?

I agree, so I've logged a bug here to add this to the standard report.
