I have modified the standard Invoice report. The original stored procedure was copied and given a new name along with the standard report so I now have a new report and new stored procedure.
Everything in the new report works fine in the Crystal editor I get all the correct info and the new field. To get to this point I followed your brief tutorial on updating report and as expected there were a couple of funny Crystal happenings along the way.

When I run it through Jiwa I get the following error

"The table 'usp_Jiwa_Invoices_Invoice;1 could not be found, error in File MNT39015 - NCT Msg Invoice. Table could not be found"

Now when I updated the report the old table name never changed but its properties reflected the new name.

It runs under Crystal Preview and SQL Manager but not Jiwa.

I am running Crystal Reports Version 11.5

Any clues on what might be happening here also is there an alternative to Crystal Reports now, or is one planned down the track.

Cancel this request I have found what was causing the error, it was a permissions problem in the database.

Some more detailed documentation on reports would be helpful once you get a chance.
