Quote / Sales Order Comments

Postby Professional » Fri Nov 20, 2015 11:58 am

Hi,

A client uses comment lines frequently when quoting and entering sales orders. As the comment line is restricted to a certain number of characters (200?), they have to enter multiple comment lines for the information they enter. They would like to enter the comments in one go rather than having to start a new comment line when they reach the character limit. Is there any way this can be achieved? Any workaround that could possibly be done without altering the database?

Thanks,
Jeff

A plugin could automatically start a new comment line when they reach the limit. In my estimation, It'd be an hour or two of work to get that done.
