cannot delete quote.

I am trying to delete a quote so that I can edit an inventory item that is included in the quote and am getting this error message:

Error: The method or operation is not implemented.
Module: Delete.

How do I rectify this?

I get that also but if you need to edit a line on the quote, are you editing in the quote grid or do you need to modify the PartNo in Inventory Maintenance?

If the latter, then just delete the line. Do your edits, and add the line again to the quote.

thanks for the info. I have an inventory item that needs to be updated but I cant update it because it is part of a current quote.
I tried to delete the item from the quote so that I can move ahead, but I cant see anyway of doing that. There is not delete button or trash can etc for the inventory item. Right click brings nothing either. There must be a way of deleting the item from the quote, I just cant see where it is.
I should point out that the quote was created via the API.
Any ideas appreciated.

There is a bin button on each quote line which when pressed will remove the line. If you cannot see the bin button, then it has been hidden and you need to make it visible again using custom column management.

And, as Danny pointed out, you can also remove lines via the context menu when you rught click the row.
