credit limit exceeded popup

Customer has reported that the credit limit popup doesn't always work.

I have been unable to reproduce the problem. I always get the popup on first save, and then not thereafter, which a ILSpy tells me is what I should expect.

So I was wondering if there's been a recent (since SR5) change in behaviour somewhere that would cause a user to think that this has "stopped working".

I suspect the problem is memory corruption between chair and keyboard, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Not that I can see.

I've looked at all the changes made relating to the credit limit event in the sales order form and the business logic of sales orders since SR5 and no code changes were made anywhere near that.

We're pretty careful to make sure every change we make has a ticket backing it - so a Jira query of all the sales order changes since SR5 should reveal any such changes - but it does not :
