Setting the e-Mail template in Sales Orders

I can see no way to select an e-Mail template to be used when e-Mailing from the Sales Order form. How is this managed?

Individual Sales Order emailing does not use email templates. Email templates are only used by the "Batch Printing & Emailing" form.

Having said that, there is a plugin titled "Sales Order Custom Email" that ships as standard that demonstrates how the sales order email form can have it's fields pre-populated as desired.
