I hope you were aware we had a sample plugin for a list maintenance form in the samples and examples! : viewtopic.php?f=27&t=498 All you'd need to do is rename all occurrences of "Widget" to Category6.

But I've decided the real configuration screen with an extra tab is a better option.

Thats what made it so fast for me to get it up & going. Without the widget example I would've been stumped.
