Hi, there's a plugin which ships in 7.0.182 called Sales Order Custom Fields with UI. In fact I think it was developed in response to a question a raised a year or 2 ago on the forums.
I've used it previously in 7.0.157 and it works a treat.

But in 7.0.182 there are various errors. Would you be able to rewrite it to suit 7.0.182? It's in VB so would be good to keep in VB.

I can then use the 182 sample plugin to update my customer-specific variations.

No there isn't. Are you sure you got the name right?

We did go through all the standard plugins back in 7.00.177.00 and adjusted them to work with the changes - so I doubt this is a standard plugin you're referring to.

OK, my bad. I can see it in a few databases I fiddle around in so I thought it must ship standard. It was definitely written by you or Scott.

If I attach here, can you take a look anyway and get it to work in 7.0.182?

I have updated the plugin and attached it as a post in the forum topic this was originally provided in.

I pretty much just followed the guidance in our article on how to make the changes necessary.

Yeah, I tried to follow the guide but got a tad bamboozled.
Anyway, really appreciate the prompt response. Wasn't expecting anything for several days.
I'll import into 7.0.182 and see how I go.

I shall make an effort to make that guidance a bit easier to follow - perhaps some specific examples will better explain things.
