Purchase Order Upgrade Issue

Hi Mike,

We have a database from a customer where it has just been upgraded from 6.4 series to 7.1 and now in purchase orders where you would normally set the status to sent there is nothing in the drop down list.

However a previous version of the database that you had a hand in upgrading and has been taken to 7.1 doesn't have the problem.

Do you have any ideas what could be causing this, I have already made sure that orders are set to simple workflow?

Have a look in PO_WorkflowLines for the simple workflow and ensure that steps exist (perhaps post them here for us to compare to a demo database).

Hi Scott,

PO_WorkFlowLines is empty??

Can I just use SQL explorer to create a schema and data script for the table and run the data part against the upgraded database?

I do not understand why that table is empty.

Upgrade scripts 6.4.19 6600 through 6.4.19 6720 populate that table.

Hi Scott,

I don't get it either, the only other strange thing is the only statuses in PO_Main are zero and three and on screen something with a simple workflow is showing Awaiting EDI Processing?

And I am also getting an FK violation on contact type for PO_Main on save.

I'd pull the data from a demo database and fill PO_WorkFlowLines as well as PO_WorkFlow. Then ensure workflow RecIDs matchup in PO_Main.
