For a customer we needed to update a Stock Take form.
Customer gave us a csv file from their scanxpress system.
Created a new Stock Take form and noted the Stock Take No.
Wrote a straight forward SQL script to import the csv file and write the "Quantity Found" value into table IN_StockTakeLines, IN_StockTakeLineDetails filtered by Part No and Stock Take No.
The JIWA Stock Take form Updated, Saved and Activated successfully.
Since this is not a regular task, we thought this was the quickest method, but writing a Plugin would be a more convenient method for customer and better for data integrity(?).
Do we have a sample Plugin which Creates a new stock take form and includes all the items in a csv file with the scanned items and Qty found values?
